Crosby, Stills, & Nash (Young)

Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young. All men came from different bands and all had separate solo careers. Crosby came from the Byrds, Nash from the Hollies and Stills and Young came from Buffalo Springfield. Neil Young did not participate on every album, being an on again off again member. The band formed in the late 60's and released their debut, Crosby, Stills and Nash. Later on they would recruit Neil Young to the band to record their second album. During this time they made their second live performance as a foursome, which was at the famous Woodstock festival. A lot of the band's lyrics are anti-war based and real life events. All four would record as solo artists and form other bands. They would return together from time to time to make another album or a reunion tour. Their last studio album was released in 1999.
