Alice In Chains

Alice in chains was one of the biggest groups from the 1990's grunge era. Like other bands of their kind, they were from Seattle, Washington. Alice in chains was one of my favorite bands when I was in high school. But now when I look back on it, they didn't release a whole lot of albums. Three full length albums, two E.P.'s, a few greatest hits, and a couple live albums. I was under the impression that there was a huge collection, but there really isn't since much of it is greatest hits, and live albums. Alice in Chains broke up in the late 90's. After their break up singer/songwriter Layne Staley, one of my favorite vocalist of all-time committed suicide. The band has been off and on since Layne's death and now have a new singer. As of 2008 it is rumored that their first studio album since their self titled album is being recorded.
