Arcade Fire

Arcade Fire is an Indie group from Canada.  Their sound is very unique, there's nothing quite like it.  What first turned me onto Arcade fire was a song called Cold Wind.  I was at work one morning and heard this creepy song that fascinated me.  I did several searches on trying to figure out who the artist was and I just could not find it.  About a month later I heard the DJ give the title of the song.  I went home and did a search on the song and discovered it was by a band named Arcade Fire.  I went to best buy and found two albums by them, but the song Cold Wind, was not on either!  So once again I had to do more research.  I went home searched through my favorite site Cdnow.com, and discovered that you can only purchase that song on a soundtrack!  So you know it, I went out and purchased the soundtrack, and their first EP album that same day.  Something interesting about this group is that their first EP, which was recorded in 2003, was released for retail in 2005.  They sold copies of them at concerts but would later release it after their "Debut" album Funereal was released.  The band was formed by Husband & Wife Win Butler and Regine Chassagne.
