Abba Gold is a greatest hits compilation compiled from Abba singles & Albums.  For some strange reason the track listing is placed out of chronological order.

Recommendations

I recommend this album being the only Abba album in your collection.  There are quite a few Abba greatest hits albums out there, this being one of the best.  Unless if you know of a track that you can't find off of Abba Gold, you may want to try their Definitive collection.  If it's not on any of those two albums, it may be difficult to find since most of their work is out of print.

Abba Gold can easily be found at Best Buy or any local record store.  On average it costs around $12.99.  On most days however, you should be able to purchase it from Cdnow.com for $9.99.

If you don't plan on purchasing Abba Gold but want to hear some tracks from it

I have listed my personal top five tracks from this album.  Not every song found here is excellent, but there is a handful of nice tracks.  If interested you should check out Itunes or Napster to download a couple tracks that I recommend.  Though I must say, for the price, it might just be worth owning the album. I do not have an ideal compilation for Abba.  My ideal compilation would consist of all the tracks from this album.  Abba Home Page
