Notes

Who made who is a soundtrack album recorded by AC/DC for the Stephen King film Maximum Overdrive.  I have seen the film and have read the short story.  Not too bad, but what I remember most about the film is the beginning.  Now mind you, this is not in the short story.  There are cars on a ferry bridge in which the bridge begins to lift without warning and all the cars begin to slide down the hill.  It is spooky as hell, and is awesome.  The band is actually in this scene, riding in their AC/DC van.  If I can remember correctly, the band does not survive.  Though two thirds of this album was released on prior albums, this album reached number 33 on the Billboard charts.

Recommendations

This is hard to say.  If you own all the albums, you already have most of these tracks.  If you own most of the albums, but not Fly on the wall, then you have less than half.  It's a tough call, but for me it was easy.  First off, I'm going to own all the albums.  Second, the title track "Who made who", can only be found here, and that song totally kicks A.

If you plan on purchasing Who made who

You must pick up the 2003 remastered version.  All AC/DC albums have been remastered with new packaging, fabulous liner notes, and CD ROM extra footage features.  AC/DC may have the greatest CD package on the market today.  The liner notes tell a continuing story on the band.  Each disc continues the story where the previous disc left off. You can find this album at your local Best Buy or any local record store.  It is usually sold at a reasonable price, and with the use of Cdnow.com, you should never pay more than $11.99 for it.

If you don't plan on purchasing Who made who but want to hear some tracks from it

As I said earlier, you may want to skip this one because you may own most of the tracks.  But "Who made who" is a must own track. Either you purchase this album, borrow it from a friend or check out  Itunes or Napster to download it. Now I know AC/DC is not on Itunes, but I'm sure someday they will.
