Notes

This is the debut album for Bryan Adams.  He was 20 years old when it was released and was trying to find a name for himself.  Though this album never charted in the U.S. he did get some airplay which caught the attention of concert promoters and managers, leading his way to success in the future.

Recommendations

This album is not well-known, which is a bit disappointing.  This is clearly not as good as his two break through albums in the mid 1980's, but it's better than anything he has done recently.  I would highly recommend this for any Bryan Adams fan or fans of 80's music.  This is definitely a hidden gem that you've been waiting to discover.

If you plan on purchasing Bryan Adams

I had my eye on this album for a long time, which is strange because I had no idea if it was good or not.  I've only been able to find it on-line, and I would check on it weekly, and it would always be 18.99.  One day in March of 2008 I saw it available on my favorite site, Cdnow.com, and it was 9.99.  I bought it in a matter of seconds, and have never seen it at that price again.  So beware, you are going to shell out some extra coin for it, but you can find it online at Cdnow.com on a regular basis.

If you don't plan on purchasing Bryan Adams but want to hear some tracks from it

Most of the tracks here are pretty even with no real stand outs.  Unfortunately you can not purchase tracks on-line, you either need to purchase the album or know someone who has it and borrow it. If you would like some suggestions for other Bryan Adams tracks, you can view my ideal compilation at my Bryan Adams Home Page.
