Notes

This was the debut album for country singer Trace Adkins.  It contains one of a few number one singles of his, (This ain't) No thinkin' thing.  Trace only co-wrote two tracks on the album.

Recommendations

There are some good tunes here on this debut.  However, Trace does have two greatest hits albums in which you can find some of these tracks.  If you are a casual listener you may be better off with that.  But it you want a solid 1990's country album, then go for it.

If you plan on purchasing Dreamin out loud.

There is only one release of this version and that is the 1996 version.  You should be able to find it in the country section at your local record store.  If not, you can always purchase it at Cdnow.com.

If you don't plan on purchasing Dreamin' out loud but want to hear some tracks from it.

You can hear almost half of this album on his first greatest hits album.  But if you are passing both of these, there may be some tracks you are missing out on.  I enjoy the humorous I left something turned on at home and 634-5789.  There are a couple sappy tunes and some good ole hillbilly tunes.  You can preview and purchase my top 5 at Itunes or Napster.  For more suggestions you can check out my ideal compilation at my Trace Adkins Home Page.
