Ambrosia

Ambrosia is an American rock band formed in the 1970's out of Southern California.  The band was together for a few years before they landed a record deal and recorded their debut.  From there the band would record several more albums and make a few greatest hits albums.  To my surprise I discovered that this band could actually jam.  Their first few albums have a progressive rock sound to it, and then they turn more into a ballady 80's band.  Prior to owning any of their records I was only familiar with "How much I feel" and became impressed that they have some great material.  The band has added a couple members to the original line-up and still tour from time to time.  They may be best known for their ballads, but Ambrosia really could jam.
