Amerie

Amerie is an American R&B singer from Fitchburg, Massachusetts.  She is half Korean, and spent sometime living there as a child.  Amerie became popular when she was featured on a Nas track, and her first hit single "Why don't we fall in love" hit radio airwaves.  Her debut album did okay, letting her gain some more popularity, being featured on other artists records, and even become host of a BET show titled The Center.  3 years after her debut album was released, Amerie's second album had completed and hit the shelves.  She has since then released an additional album, and is rumored to be recording her fourth album under a new label, Island Def Jam.
