Notes

I don't know what I can say about this album.  This was the first Aquabats album I ever purchased and it has an interesting story to it.  I was at Best Buy one day checking out their A Artists with Elizabeth, and I couldn't figure out on which CD's to get.  I say out loud that it doesn't matter what I get, because I am going to get them all someday.  So anyway, I run into Dad & Bob, and start talking with them and I come back to the A's and Liz has something picked out.  "Look, this CD comes with trading cards" she says.  I look at it, and can't believe it. AQUABATS, I mean come on, look at the ferries on the cover!  So yeah, I bought it, and received two trading cards.  I'm guessing there are 13 cards because on the back of them there are lyrics to songs, I have card numbers 11 & 12.  After doing some research I discovered that the Aquabats dress up as superheroes and are some of the weirdest people alive!

Recommendations

Charge!! is not an awful album, but it's not great either.  There are a few catchy songs, and since I like them, I must keep it.  In comparison to other Aquabat albums I don't know how it rates, so in the future I will be able to give a better recommendation.

If you plan on purchasing Charge!!

I can honestly tell you on that Tuesday where I ran into Dad & Bob and Elizabeth sighted this album, I have never seen it available anywhere in stores.  Cdnow.com always has it in stock so you can purchase it there, or you can always try Ebay. But whatever you do, make sure you get your playing cards!

If you don't plan on purchasing Charge!! but want to hear some tracks from it

Below I have listed my top 5 tracks from the album.  The top two were a cinch, but I struggled with the remaining three.  Look at me (I'm a winner) is classic, and Hot Summer Nights (Won't last forever) Is pretty good too.  Other than the song Hot Summer Nights (Won't last forever) and Beth by Kiss, I don't know of another song that refers to the name Elizabeth, which is ironic since she is the one that discovered this strange album. I'm not sure if any of these track are available for download but you can always try a search on Itunes or Napster I also have my ideal compilation for the band on my Aquabats Home Page.
