This is the second release for Ashanti.  There were two hit singles from this album, "Rock wit u" and "Rain on me". When released, this album immediately went to number one on the Billboard charts, not really sure why, but it did,

Recommendations

To me, this is a major let down after the first album.  The two hits are decent, but other than that I was disappointed.  I'm usually into the tracks that weren't singles, but that is not the case for Chapter II.  Not recommended. 

If you plan on purchasing Chapter II

The 2003 release is the way to go.  There are other import versions out there, but even the price for the original is a little steep.  I'm usually able to find this in stores, but sometimes you can peak in at Cdnow.com and find a cheaper price.
