Notes

This is the third album released by Avant and the one that drew my attention.  The big hit from this was "Read your mind", which is why I bought this album.  It's very similar to his other releases and is better than his second effort, but not as good as the first.  Private Room peaked at number 18 on the Billboard charts.

Recommendations

There are a few catchy songs, but once again, this is a bit weaker than your typical R&B album. 

If you plan on purchasing Private room

Of all the Avant albums, this is one the easiest to find in stores.  There is only one version you are going to find and that is the 2003 original release.  If you can not find it in stores, you should have no problem at all purchasing it at Cdnow.com.

If you don't plan on purchasing Private room but want to hear some tracks from it

There are not a lot of standout tracks here.  Most of the lyrics and tracks on here are whack, but the ones I would recommend would be below in my top 5.  These tracks can be purchased at either Itunes or Napster. You can also check out my Avant ideal compilation at my Avant Home Page.
