Notes

This is the debut album for boy band B2K.  The lead single was "Uh Huh", which I think is one of many of the bad songs found on this album.  The first three tracks are what really makes the album worth owning.  The four singles released on this album obviously helped with the record sales, which peaked at number 2 on the Billboard charts.

Recommendations

It's your typical "Boy band" album, a couple decent pop songs, then the rest just drags and blends together.  The hits are the only songs I can stand so if you liked their second album, or their soundtrack album, you may want to try one of there two (yes two) Greatest Hits packages.

If you plan on purchasing B2K

Not a lot of options, which is sometimes nice.  The only version available is the 2002 release.  You can sometimes find this in stores, but if not, you can purchase it used at Cdnow.com for a very low price.

If you don't plan on purchasing B2K but want to hear some tracks from it

There are only three tracks worth owning on this one.  However, I am leaving out the lead single "Uh huh".  "Gots ta be" is actually one of my favorite songs released that year.  Other notable tracks would be the singles "Understanding" and "Why I love you."  These tracks and others (why?) can be purchased at either Itunes or Napster.  For more suggestions you can check out my ideal compilation at my B2K Home Page.
