The band, the album, and the song Bad company are based on a movie of the same title.  Paul Rodgers loved the movie and decided to name the band after it...and the album...and a song...  The album is a classic debut featuring two top forty hits as well as popular classic rock songs and a couple deep tracks.  The album hit number one on the Billboard pop charts

Recommendations

This is a classic start to finish album.  It might not be as consistent or as great as other debut albums, but it is still loaded with good tunes.  A must own for your library.

If you plan on purchasing Bad Company

In 2006 there was a 24K gold release of this album.  I own the 1994 remastered version which I believe is sufficient enough.  Unless if you're a die hard fan, just stick with the 1994 version.  It sounds as good and is reasonable priced at Cdnow.com.
