Notes

This is an excellent follow up to their self titled album, Bad CompanyStraight Shooter consists of some of their bigger hits, such as Good lovin' gone bad, Feel like makin' love, and to me their anthem, Shooting star.  I also enjoy the album cover.  The cover is a crap table with a roll of the dice showing an eleven.  Though the dice are in mid-air, it appears that the "straight shooter" may be crapping out.  Straight Shooter peaked at number three on the Billboard pop charts.

Recommendations

This one comes up a little shy of their debut.  It is however a classic, and a must own for any music library.

If you plan on purchasing Straight shooter

I own the 1994 remastered version which is the most reasonable priced and easiest version to come by. There are a couple other import releases.  They cost about three times as much and there is not much of a difference, so you are better off with the 1994 remastered version.  You can easily purchase this version at your local record store or at Cdnow.com

If you don't plan on purchasing Straight shooter but want to hear some tracks from it

This album as I said earlier contains three classics and you must own those.  There are also some deep tracks that I would have never known if I didn't own this, such as Anna.  You should seriously consider purchasing the three hits, plus any others that are in my top 5 at Itunes or NapsterI also have my ideal compilation for the band on my Bad Company Home Page.
