Notes

After the break-up of New Edition, Rickey, Ronnie, and Mike put together their own group and released a great debut album.  This album was very successful unlike their other released.  B.B.D., Do Me, Poison and When will I see you smile again were all top 5 hits for R&B charts.  The album charted at number 5 on the Billboard Pop Charts.

Recommendations

There are about six good tracks here.  That is more than half the album.  When half the album is great, you know that it is a must own for any music library.

If you plan on purchasing Poison.

There is only release of this album and that is the original 1990 MCA version.  At times you can find it available at local record stores, but you best bet is to purchase it at Cdnow.com.  Get this, it never costs more than seven bucks! (as of 2008)

If you don't plan on purchasing Poison but want to hear some tracks from it

I'm curious to hear what your excuse is if you don't own this one.  Six good tracks, and the others are not bad, and you can purchase the album for seven bucks online.  Seven bucks for a good 90's CD, is a must for your library.  But for some reason you are passing this one up, then you better hit up Itunes or Napster and purchase my top 5.  If you would like more suggestions, then check out my ideal compilation at my B.B.D. Home Page.
