Boston

Boston is a classic rock band formed in the 1970's led by Tom Scholz.  Scholz, a MIT graduate wrote and arranged the songs for the debut album and recorded them in his studio basement.  His demo was denied a couple times then finally someone showed interest when Brad Delp sang the vocals.  The label insisted on changing a few band members and to record the album in a professional studio.  Scholz was able to mix the album in his basement studio except for one track.  The band would go on to make a few more albums, but nothing would compare to their debut, which is a true classic rock album.  The band still tours and has a different line-up with Scholz still leading the way.  March 9th 2007, original lead singer Brad Delp was found dead from suicide.  Boston and several other bands played a tribute concert to the former Boston member.
