Notes

This is a heck of a debut.  The album contains a super start, decent middle, and then finishes off with two good tracks.  What more could you ask for?  I’m shocked that there were only two singles from this album, “You” and “Far behind.”  This is defiantly Candlebox’s finest work.  The album peaked at number 7 on the Billboard charts.

Recommendations

This is 90’s rock at some of its finest.  You should make a reservation for Candlebox in your C section of your library.

If you plan on purchasing Candlebox

There is only one version of this album available on CD.  It’s their most popular release so you should be able to find it at your local record store.  I actually bought my version at a garage sale for 50 cents.  That sure was a bargain!  If you can’t find a deal like I did, you can check out Cdnow.com and see what they are offering.

If you don't plan on purchasing Candlebox but want to hear some tracks from it

The two big hits were “You” and “Far behind”, but believe me, there are many more must tracks than those.  You totally need to check out my top 5 and in addition tracks like “He calls home” and the bluesy “Rain” should also be purchased as well.  So when it really comes down to it, you should by the album.  All of these tracks can be purchased at Itunes or Napster. I also have my ideal compilation for the band on my Candlebox Home Page.
