Notes

One of the best debut's from one of the best bands to come out in the new millennium.  The album is a little bit softer overall than future albums, but that's okay.  Some of their biggest hits can be found here such as "Shiver", "Yellow", and "Trouble".  The final track also includes a bonus track.  The album wasn't much of a hit at the time of it's release in the U.S. and only peaked at number 51 on the Billboard charts.

Recommendations

This one should totally be in your library.  At times it can be very mellow, with great lyrics and harmonies.  Then again it can be upbeat with excellent lyrics overall.  A good variety album that should please everyone.

If you plan on purchasing Parachutes

There are some import releases that are very expensive.  You really won't miss out on anything if you pick up the original 2000 release.  You will be able to find this album without a problem at your local record store.  But as you know, you will find it in stock as well at Cdnow.com.

If you don't plan on purchasing Parachutes but want to hear some tracks from it
