Sheryl Crow

Sheryl Crow is a singer/songwriter who has a wide range of styles from country/folk to rock/pop.  Crow graduated from The University Missouri with a degree in musical composition.  She started off as a music teacher.  With this job she was able to perform in local bands on the weekends and work on TV commercial jingles.  She then began working on a solo album, which her label refused to release.  A small portion of tracks however were released on cassette and is extremely hard to find.  Crow ended up joining a group of songwriters in which they would share their ideas, which helped lead to the success of her debut album.  There were many disputes with other members of the group with songwriting credits, which led to them splitting up.  Since then she has recorded several top selling albums and has even been featured in a couple films.  She has collaborated with a long list of talented musicians and always seems to be in the media.  Crow was diagnosed with breast cancer shortly after breaking up with famous cyclist Lance Armstrong, and has now fully recovered.
