The Eagles

The Eagles were formed in Los Angeles, California in the early 1970's. Their original line-up consisted of Glen Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon, & Randy Meisner. The band was originally formed by Linda Ronstadt's manager and performed on her debut album, Linda Ronstadt. The band then wanted to write music on their own and then recorded their first album. Don Felder was added to the line-up on their third album. These 5 would be together until one of their most popular albums, Hotel California was released. Bernie Leadon had been replaced by James Gang member and solo artist, Joe Walsh. Hotel California would also be the last to include Randy Meisner. The next album would include Timothy B. Schmidt and the band would soon break up. They would reunite 14 years later for the Hell freezes over concert, which included the 5 members of their last album. 7 years later Don Felder was fired from The Eagles. He tried to sue the band but was unsuccessful. The band has been recording a studio album that is set to be released in 2007. This would be their first studio album in 28 years.
