Notes

This is the debut album for Kris Kross.  This is their most popular album, surprisingly reaching number 1 on the Billboard charts.  The album is produced and mostly written by Jermaine Dupri.  Dupri would go on to be a big time hip-hop producer, being the youngest ever to produce a top charting album, which happened to be Totally Krossed Out.

Recommendations

This is not a top priority on my list of recommendations.  There are only two, maybe three tracks that I feel are standouts.  You should only own this if you are a big time music collector.

If you plan on purchasing Totally Krossed Out

There is only one version of this album available.  One day my brother, Liz, and I were checking out garage sales.  This was the early stages of building up my library and they know that I am after any album that has at least a song or two that I enjoy.  Either Bob or Liz, I can't remember which, came across Kris Kross for 50 cents, I passed on it.  They finally got me to change my mind, and I'm glad they did.  I bought an album for the library in good condition for 50 cents, can't beat that.  If you can't find if for 50 cents, you can always check out Cdnow.com, they have it stock, at a reasonable price, but not quite 50 cents.

If you don't plan on purchasing Totally Krossed Out but want to hear some tracks from it

I wouldn't quite say that it is "The Jam" but Jump isn't that bad of a tune, so you should own it in some way.  Other notables are Warm it up, and maybe I missed the bus.  You can purchase these tracks at Itunes or Napster.
