Limp Bizkit

Limp Bizkit is a metal/rap band from Jacksonville. The band's front man Fred Durst formed the band when he met local bassist Sam Rivers. Soon after, River's cousin joined the band as well as a local guitarist, who didn't last long and was replaced by Wes Borland. The band began playing local shows and became good friends with the band Korn. The band was struggling to find a record label to sign them. They had finally agreed to sign to Flip records, but then changed there minds once Mojo Records gave them an offer. They signed a contract with Mojo Records, and then broke it after deciding they would rather be with Flip Records. They recorded a couple albums with one of their most popular tracks, "Nookie" coming from there second album. I don't know what came over him, but at this time Durst started getting involved in many complications with other bands, most notably Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails and Eminem. Their third album contained one of their biggest hits "My way", which was them theme song to Wrestlemainia 17. The band kind of went downhill from there. A girl was killed at one of their concerts, and their guitarist had left the band, They have released a few albums since then but have never reached the success they once had. Guitarist Wes Borland rejoined the band for a bit, but then once again left. As of 2008 they are working on an new album, updating fans on their website of its status.
