Loon

Loon, who’s real name is Chauncey Hawkins is an American rapper from Harlem, New York.  Loon started off in the mainstream by signing to P Diddy’s label, Bad Boy Records.  His debut album sold about a half million copies and had a couple minor hits.  Soon after, he left Bad Boy Records and made his own label, Boss up Entertainment.  To me, this was not a smart choice.  Since then he has started several feuds with other rappers such as Mase, Jim Jones, and now 40 Cal.  He has released three albums on his own label, which combined have not even come close to sales of his debut.
