Notes
This is the debut album for 'N Sync. Originally released in Germany, once released in the U.S. the sales were not that great. Disney then aired a special concert of the band then all of sudden record sales were insane as it peaked at number 2 on the Billboard charts. The album includes a few of their biggest hits such as "Tearin' up my heart", "God must have spent a little more time on you", and their first hit "I want you back." There were also two poorly done covers in my opinion of a Bread song, "Everything I own" and a Christopher Cross song, "Sailing." Since it's release the album has sold over 10 million copies in the U.S.
Recommendations
I don't really mind this album, but I do have a wide listening range. If you had a teen daughter in the late 90's then I'm sure this was in your household. I would only recommend this really to women and fans on 90's pop music. If you are a rocker or a hip-hopper, you will want to pass this one up.
If you plan on purchasing 'N Sync
According to Cdnow.com this album has been discontinued from the manufacturer. But you can still easily get your hands on it. There are several used copies being sold at Cdnow.com. I also see this album available at garage sales. Just about any garage sale that sells CD's you will see this one available. That's how I got my copy, it was a nice 50 cent purchase.
If you don't plan on purchasing 'N Sync but want to hear some tracks from it
If interested in any on these tracks you will want to check out the hits "I want you back" and "Tearin' up my heart." But it would almost be silly to purchase these individually, because chances are you can purchase this used for less than two bucks. But if you enjoy the convenience of just clicking on a button and purchasing it straight to your computer, I understand. Some other less known tracks that I would recommend are the upbeat tunes "Here we go" and the album finale "Giddy up. All of these and more can be purchased at either Itunes or Napster. For more suggestions, you can check out my ideal compilation at my 'N Sync Home Page.
