Notes

This is the debut album for multi skilled musician Stephen Stills.  There are many guest appearances made on this album including guitarists Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix, CSNY drummer Dallas Taylor, and Beatles drummer Ringo Starr.  The album includes Stills' biggest solo hit "Love the one you're with" and one of his concert favorites, "Black Queen."  The album was dedicated to Jimi Hendrix, who was one of Stills' best friend.  "Old times Good times" is one of the last known tracks that Hendrix recorded.  The album peaked at number 3 on the Billboard charts.

Recommendations

If you like CSNY than you will enjoy this.  There is a nice mix of folk, pop, and classic rock.  This would be a nice addition to your library.

This album was remastered in 1995 and that is the version to own.  It's the only one I have been able to find and the best copy out there.  I've never seen this in stores, but you can purchase it online at Cdnow.com.
