Notes

This is the solo debut for G-Unit member Young Buck.  Prior to its release Young Buck had appeared on several tracks as a guest appearance, and was also a featured artist on the G-unit album, Beg For Mercy.  This album contains lots of producers, and lots of guest appearances by other rappers who are not part of the G-Unit crew.  The album reached number 3 on the Billboard top 200, and was the 50th album added to Scott's Music Library.

Recommendations

There are a good handful of tracks here.  You can always count on some good production from a G-Unit album. This album features lots of guest appearances which also makes the album more enjoyable.  If you're a fan of hip-hop, you should own this.  If you're a casual fan, well you may want to listen to a few tracks before you make the purchase.

If you plan on purchasing Straight outta Ca$hville

There are two versions of this album available, the original release, and the G-Unit collectors edition.  For some reason at the time of the release I did not purchase the G-Unit collectors edition.  The only difference really, is an  extra track, featuring 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg ,Lloyd Banks, Daz Dillinger, and Supafly, a different album cover, and a DVD of bonus material.  I enjoy the two disc CD/DVD sets myself, and wish I owned this version instead.  However, it is pricier, I would say on average it costs about eight more dollars.  So if you're only wanting to own the tracks, get the original version, if you enjoy the extras like me, get the G-Unit special edition.  You can purchase both of these at Cdnow.com.

If you don't plan on purchasing Straight outta Ca$hville  but want to hear some tracks from it

There were a few hits from this album.  Most notably the club banger Let me in, and the Lil Jon produced track Shorty wanna ride.  Since you have decided to pass up on owning the album, you should check those two tracks out and some of my other top 5 material at Itunes or Napster. If interested, you can check out my ideal compilation for Young Buck at my Young Buck Home Page.
